NENA Standards & Best Practices

This week, many 9-1-1 professionals gather in Orlando for the annual NENA Standards & Best Practices conference. It’s an important one not just for as at RapidDeploy, but for the whole industry – thought leaders come together to discuss critical issues and the future of public safety communications. In addition to meeting customers, partners and friends, this conference also typically has strong focus on substantial discussions, often quite technical and detailed. As an force of change within 9-1-1, it is important for us to contribute to standards development and other initiatives to move the industry forward. At NENA SBP, you’ll see that RapidDeploy is invested in the future of 9-1-1 and leading from the front

My colleagues Brooks Shannon, John Beasley, Steven Raucher and I will join me in Orlando to present a variety topics, with a heavy focus on Next Generation 9-1-1 GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Our Dispatch Platform is built around a best-in-class NG911 GIS engine, and it fills me with pride that we have the leading thinkers in the industry on our team. We will also talk about the latest trends in Disaster Response and Location Accuracy, and discuss what a “real NG911 future” looks like.

Please reach out to Brooks, John, Steve or me to schedule meetings, and make sure you mark the following sessions in your calendar:
